PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil is an ethoxylated derivative of hydrogenated castor oil, combining a castor-oil-based hydrophobic component with a hydrophilic polyethylene glycol chain. This structure gives it excellent solubilizing, emulsifying and surfactant properties, making it particularly useful for incorporating hydrophobic ingredients into aqueous and aqueous-alcoholic formulations.
