Decyl Glucoside is a mild, plant-derived non-ionic surfactant widely used in cosmetic and personal-care formulations. It provides effective cleansing, wetting and foaming properties while offering good compatibility with sensitive-skin and sulfate-free formulations.
Decyl Glucoside is an alkyl polyglucoside surfactant produced from renewable plant-derived glucose and C10 fatty alcohol. It is valued for its mild cleansing action, good foaming performance and compatibility with a broad range of cosmetic ingredients.
It is commonly used in facial cleansers, shampoos, body washes, shower gels and liquid soaps. Decyl Glucoside can also be combined with amphoteric and anionic surfactants to improve foam characteristics, cleansing performance and formulation texture.
Due to its plant-derived raw materials and readily biodegradable nature, Decyl Glucoside is particularly suitable for natural, sulfate-free and environmentally conscious personal-care formulations.
