Paprika Oleoresin is a concentrated natural colour and flavour extract obtained from the dried fruits of Capsicum annuum L. It is rich in natural carotenoid pigments, particularly Capsanthin and Capsorubin, which provide characteristic red to deep-red colour to food and flavour formulations.
Bulk quantities and customized supply requirements are available for professional buyers.
Cumin Oleoresin is obtained by extracting dried cumin seeds using permitted food-grade solvents, followed by removal and separation of the solvent and recombination of the volatile and non-volatile fractions. It provides a concentrated cumin flavour in a more consistent and compact form than ground cumin.
Cuminaldehyde is the principal characteristic marker, while the volatile fraction also contains compounds such as p-cymene, γ-terpinene and β-pinene. FSSAI defines spice oleoresins as extracts containing volatile and non-volatile constituents obtained using permitted food-grade solvents.
